Christmas is my favorite time of year. I find no better way to get into the Holiday spirit by visiting the beautifully decorated Davenport Hotel. I always time my visit with Christmas Tree Elegance. There was no disappointment this year. The Davenport was exquisitely decorated and the Christmas Tree Elegance trees were more beautiful than ever.

The Davenport Hotel is located in downtown Spokane at 10 s. Post Street. As soon as you walk in you hear and see Christmas everywhere.

Christmas Tree Elegance is a fundraiser for the Spokane Symphony. There are 12 beautifully decorated trees to view. Each tree has a theme and includes thousands of dollars worth of raffle items. Most trees have some sort of travel gift certificate, cash and other items. You can buy raffle tickets at $1 each and enter to win the tree and the gifts. It was hard this year to decide on my favorite tree. There were so many beautiful trees and wonderful items. I put raffle tickets in 4 different trees, but I would really like to win the Stirling Castle:Scotland. It includes a $1,500 Travel Certificate to Scotland, $500 cash along with many games, a chess set and an antique game table with 4 chairs. Christmas Tree Elegance runs through Saturday December 8^th and should be put on your Holiday To Do List. Raffle tickets are on sale 10a.m.-9p.m. daily with the drawing at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday December 8^th. You do not need to be present to win.
