Clinkderdagger's-Spokane Clinkerdagger’s is located in the historic Flour Mill in downtown Spokane, 621 W. Mallon. The Flour Mill was built in 1895 and renovated into a unique blend of shops and restaurants in 1974 in preparation for the World’s Fair.

Clinkerdagger’s is one of Spokane’s finest restaurants. It has an abundance of warmth and charm beginning before you walk in. Once you arrive, you are greeted by a friendly staff and quickly escorted to your table. When you make your reservation, request a table by the window. The majority of the tables do overlook the Spokane River and the falls and downtown Spokane. I cannot imagine anything more romantic than over-looking the river. During the summer, outdoor seating is offered.

Clinkerdagger’s has an exquisite menu, everything from seafood, poultry to beef. Their appetizers are tasteful and affordable. I have tried numerous appetizers and have liked everyone. I would suggest by beginning every meal with a pea salad. In my opinion, Clinkerdagger’s pea salad is award winning. It has just the right combination of peas, bacon, pepper and dressing. On my most recent visit, I had the Seafood Louie Salad. It exceed my expectations. The crab, shrimp and salmon were fresh and fabulous. My husband had the Roasted Chicken Dijon with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. His was equally delicious. Entrées are priced from about $18 to $34.

Clinkerdagger’s also has an extensive wine list. If you are unsure about which wine to sample, ask your server as many can be sampled at the table. At our table the Bodegas Norton Malbec ARG 06 and the Bonterra Merlot CA 05 were drank. They were both wonderful tasting.

There is no better way to end a fabulous meal than with desert. Clinkerdagger’s has an wonderful arrays of desert, but their signature desert is their Crème Brule. The custard is heavenly and the top is “burnt” to just a perfect texture. They also have some wonderful chocolate desserts.

The lounge also has Happy Hour Specials, every day from 4-6 and 9-closing, which includes drink specials and half price appetizers.

Clinkerdagger’s is open seven days a week Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. -11 p.m. and Sunday 12-10 p.m. Reservations are a must unless you don’t mind sitting in the lounge. Call 328-5965 for reservations. Visit their website.
