Well I am writing this months late had trouble with my hard drive then lost my photos and hubby recovered them. But one of the really fun things to do in Spokane in December is to go and see the greenhouse at Manito Park every year they put on a spectacular light show.

The plants and flowers are enhanced with the colorful lights of winter joy and if you go at dark it is transformed into a fairy tale land of exotic beauty. The show is held from about mid November through mid December. The greenhouse is open from 9:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m in the winter so people can view this fabulous show of lights. So if your looking for something fun to do this coming winter for the holidays, grab a camera and head for the Manito Greenhouse Ligh tshow. You will be glad you did.

Take the children because they will delight in all the fairytale light loveliness of the flowers and plants transformed into something magical. Manito Park Greenhouse is located on the South hill of Spokane; 4 West 21st Ave. Spokane, WA. If you really want to make a day of it. Pack a picnic lunch some thermoses of hot cocoa and coffee and take along some sleds or tubes for a day of tubing then go to the light show display when it gets near dusk.
