From the outside, it looks like just another drive-thru espresso café on your way to work. You are correct, that there is a drive through window where you can order any drink you want to get you going in the morning. However, if you park on one of the 5 parking spots and walk inside, you will find a quaint little café that is warm and inviting.

Café Delicio is the perfect place to meet friends or business associates for coffee. They have a large menu that includes the typical lattes, mochas, Italian sodas and such. However, they have a wide array of tea drinks too. I decided to try the spice chi tea, which makes me nervous because I am always leery to try new drinks, because what if I don’t like it! However, the spiced chi tea was a perfect balance of spice, milk and deliciousness. My friend had a raspberry chi tea which she said was equally delicious. We split a sugar cookie from the Rocket Bakery that was, as always, perfect. We had many other choices of pastries, all from the Rocket Bakery. They have a wide array of scones, muffins, cookies, breads, and bagels.

Café Delicio’s prices are right in range with the other café’s in town. Our two drinks and cookie were $8.00. Café Delicio is located at 2317 N. Monroe, directly across from the Institute of Extended Learning. You can only enter the parking lot from Monroe.
