SoftballBatter up! Strike, ball, out! It is softball time again. We are just wrapping up the Spring Fling Co-Ed Softball Tournament sponsored by the Spokane County Parks & Recreation Department. The weather was cold but at least it did not snow. Every year we play in the Spring Fling to fine tune the team for softball season that begins in early May.Spokane County and the City of Spokane both offer recreational softball leagues for adults through either men’s, women’s or co-ed leagues. We have played in both the County and City leagues over the past 6 years. We are currently playing in the County in the Co-ed division.

We enjoying playing softball because it gives us the opportunity to stay active, get together with friends and enjoy the nice summer evenings. Most of our team has never played softball in any competitive arena before this. We are just a group of friends who want to have a great time.

We play in the Spokane County Co-Ed D League North. All of our games are either at Mt. Spokane High School, Mead High School, Holmberg Park or Lynwood Park. They also offer games in the Spokane Valley. There are four different leagues available based on your teams skill level.
