Harmon ParkThis weekend my husband and son went to Harmon Park, 6018 N. Regal Street (Market & Bismark) to play while I was out of town. Harmon Park is located on the north end of Hillyard and has so much to do and see. Harmon Park is home to a skate park, softball field, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, and children toys.

My son enjoyed playing on the toys, specifically the train, which he could climb all over. As always he enjoyed the toys as he loves to climb and slide.  He also liked trying to figure out what the sand was in the horseshoe pit. He thought it was great that he finally found a park with a sand box!

He was also very interested to watch the teens ride their skateboards and bikes. There were a handful of teens taking turns performing their tricks. My son could not get enough of watching them.

Harmon Park also is home to tennis courts, horseshoe pits and a softball field. They also have a large picnic area and public restrooms.

I plan on taking my son back after school one day this week so he can watch the “big boys” skateboard and bike ride again.
