Games, Karaoke, and Novelty Surprises at Tune Times

My boyfriend and I were stopping by the Garland Theatre to see their list of showings, when we decided we weren’t that interested in what was playing, we decided to finally stop into Tune Time, the small karaoke and game shop attached to the theatre. My boyfriend is pretty big on playing with video games [...]

Locating a Chest of Wonders at Beads and Treasures

Thanks to Linda’s comment on my article covering Beyond Beads (North) I posted in December, I took her advice and decided to check out the little Beads and Treasures Shop on North Monroe. It’s just across and down a ways from Area 58 at 3017 N. Monroe St. It’s an easy store to miss because [...]

Fun For All at Bumper’s in Northtown Mall

Tonight after walking and shopping at Northtown (4750 N. Division Street) we decided to take the elevator to the lower level to see what there was to do. I was amazed at how much there was to do at Bumper’s Family Fun Center (509-489-4000). There were acarde games, jump castle, train rides, bumper cars and more.

Sunday Brunch at the Davenport Hotel

After we arrived at the Davenport Hotel or our 10:00 reservations we were seated in a beautful ballroom surrounded by tables of fabulous lookng food. As we were escorted to our table, the host pointed out the crepe, omlet and waffle bar, meat station, hot food (fish, chicken, bacon, sausage, potato) table, seafood area and of course the most improtant the dessert and chocolate fountain.

Liberty High School Basketball: Spangle’s Small-Town Excitement

Signs on Gym Walls to Boost Spirit

I’m not much of a sports fanatic. Growing up a theatre geek, I generally prefer to go see a play than a basketball game any time I have a choice between the two options. This has frustrated my younger sister, a cheerleader for Liberty High School in Spangle (about [...]

Entertaining Food at the Shogun &; Entertaining Dance at the INB

Some of the girls I work with and I decided we had been working too hard and needed to reward ourselves with an upscale, girl’s night out. I opted for seeing “Burn the Floor” at the INB, and someone else inputted going out to dinner at the Shogun. Together, they ended up being the perfect dinner-show combination for our night on the town.

Family Night Out at David’s Pizza-Spokane

I have found my new favorite pizza place. I am talking about David’s Pizza at 829 E. Boone Avenue on the edge of Gonzaga’s campus. I am sure most of you have seen David’s Pizza as you drive down Hamilton. David’s has a fire truck parked in the front so you cannot miss it.
Last week [...]

Explore Antique Shops on Monroe Street

I love exploring antique stores. Each one is completely different and has an entirely new selection of content to browse through. So when I drove past what I noticed to be yet another antique store I hadn’t explored yet, I had to stop in. This antique store is easy to miss because they haven’t had [...]

Relax at Northwest Noetic School of Massage

Massages are good not only for your body but also for your mind. However, spending $50-$60 for an hour massage is not always an option. I have found the perfect solution just west of downtown. The Northwest Noetic School of Massage located at 2702 West Sunset Blvd. Northwest Noetic is a massage school. In order for their students to be successful, they must obtain so many hours of massage. Therefore, they offer student clinic hours Tuesday through Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Warm up with soup and a sandwich at The Sourdough Place

The second is more soup. There’s nothing quite like a bowl of soup to warm up your tummy and give you the energy to get through your day. One place I like to visit is The Sourdough Place at 821 N. Division.
