This year was their 30th year holding the concert and festival. The concert is put on by the Allegro Baroque and Beyond a non-profit arts organization and free to the public. It is always held the last Sunday of July annually. The main events are held in the Lilac Bowl Meadow across from the Spokane Opera House.

Pine River Park Family Time Outing-North Spokane
Pine River Park has a lot of green grassy areas and the Little Spokane River a small gentle stream meanders through the park. There is a playground area for the little ones and ample picnic tables, a covered picnic area for large crowds, some grilling stations and picnic tables. There are restrooms to use where one can change into bathing suits and other necessary needs.
100 Years of Motorcycle-Spokane Fairgrouds
This past Saturday we decided to head to the Spokane County Fairgrounds to the 100 Years of Motorcycle Rally & Concert Series. I was not sure what to expect, but my husband said we would enjoy ourselves as he went to Rosalia last year for the Rally. We are by no means motorcycle people, but we do enjoy looking at the custom bikes and my husband wanted to meet Jonathan Hillstrand from the “Deadliest Catch”.

Spokane Farmer’s Market
This past Wednesday after working out, we decided to swing through downtown Spokane and visit the Spokane Farmer’s Market. The Spokane Farmer’s Market is in its 10th year and is located at 20 W. 2nd Avenue (between Division and Browne). It operates from May through October every Saturday 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Wednesdays beginning mid-June from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Croping (Scrapbooking) at A Stamp For All-Spokane
However, last week I was visiting A Stamp For All at 2929 N. Monroe, Spokane Washington and saw that they were hosting a scrapbooking crop on Friday night. I have never been to a crop, but for $15 I was excited to attend my first crop.
Camelot Community Yard Sale
I am a huge fan of garage and yard sales and one of the things we did this Spring in April 26th and 27th was attend the Camelot Community Garage sale held once a year. The first day I forgot my camera but my daughter and I who was expecting her sixth baby and over due went back the next day and hit some of the sales we had missed on the first day. The first day cars were lined up along highway 2 and people were pulling wagons, pushing strollers and walking from one sale to the next.

At One o Clock p.m June 14th, My husband and I left the Liberty Lake annual yard sales to attend Donna’s School of Dance Recital held annually at the Spokane Opera House in Down town Spokane on Riverfront. This really fun family event is free to the public and has a lot to see. We were invited by our son Ray to attend the recital because two of our grandchildren were in the recital and what we learned when the show began so was our son.
4th of July Fun in Downtown Spokane
After nap time this afternoon we decided to head to downtown Spokane to take in all the 4th of July festivities. We ended up parking by the Spokane Veteran’s Arena to avoid the congestion downtown and walked through Riverfront Park. As we entered the park we could immediately tell we were in for a fun afternoon.
