I have found an establishment that has solved the good beer + good food = happy customer equation. Northern Lights Brewery, located at 1003 E. Trent Ave. Spokane, WA, is in the same building as Riverview Thai, and across the street from Gonzaga University√¢¬Ä¬ôs new baseball stadium. On the western edge of downtown Spokane, green awnings covering an outdoor seating area boast the name Rocket Bakery. This charming caf√ɬ© looks to be the type that would charge $5.00 for a tall mocha from the outside, but once you enter the glass door of the attractive brick building you realize you are far away from yuppie-dom.
